3

Chile Frito in Carolina Forest

  • Neighborhood: Carolina Forest

  • Vibe: Casual, Hole-in-the-wall
  • What to order: Ceviche, "world famoso choripollo burrito"
4

Sun City Cafe

  • Vibe: Casual and cool
  • What to order: the Old School Burrito is a giant mix of chicken and mashed potatoes smothered in cheese sauce. And do NOT skip the cheese dip for an appetizer.

Best ceviche in town.

  • Neighborhood: Myrtle Beach
  • Why locals love it This place may look like your average Mexican restaurant, but we can assure you it is far superior to most.
  • Vibe Casual, traditional Mexican restaurant
  • What to order You can order your typical fajitas, tacos, and enchiladas… all delicious. The ceviche is the best in town, with cucumbers, jalapeños, and tangy limey cilantro marinade. Also the pork tacos with pineapple 🍍 are addictive.
6

LUNA Mexican Bar & Grill

Mexican for Foodies.

  • Neighborhood: Murrells Inlet
  • Vibe: Trendy and upscale
  • What to order: ENCHILADAS SUIZAS. Here’s the menu description: “chicken enchiladas, queso Oaxaca, jack cheese, crema, tomatillo salsa, with arroz verde and refried beans with queso fresco” yummmm *And that’s just one item on the menu. You can’t go wrong here!
7

Nacho Hippo

if you’re in the mood for cool street tacos

  • Neighborhood: The Market Common + North Myrtle Beach
  • Vibe: Casual, lively
  • What to order: Ok, this is complicated because everything is delish! Personally, the street corn covered in spices and crema is a must. The mile high nacho plates with perfectly placed beef/chicken and melted cheese and fresh toppings is the BEST in Myrtle Beach. If you order nachos, you probably won’t have room for any of the street tacos… which are also incredible. Shrimp tacos with mango salsa are my go-to!
8

Margarita’s

if you’re in the mood for authentic

  • Neighborhood: North Myrtle Beach
  • Vibe: Casual, colorful, bustling
  • Local Tip:  You’ll get two salsas - one super spicy, one normal. Proceed with caution with the spicy, it’s delish but WOAH.
  • What to order: Fajita Quesadilla. Everything on the menu is excellent, but this cheesy, crispy dish is full of flavor! Once you try it, it’ll be tough to choose something else on the menu.
9

Bonfire – a smokin' taqueria

Super fresh Mexican food
