8 of the best Myrtle Beach Italian Restaurants

Here’s a roundup of our favorite Myrtle Beach Italian restaurants for date nights, family dinners, and for dinners with friends.

Is there ever a time when Italian food isn’t a great idea? Can you think of one? Probably not. We are lucky in Myrtle Beach to have so many incredible restaurant choices. When it comes to Italian, Myrtle Beach locals and visitors have a great range of options, whether it’s a fancy night out or family-friendly casual. Here’s a roundup of our favorite Myrtle Beach Italian restaurants for date nights, family dinners, and for dinners with friends.

Tip to avoid long waits

Luigi’s Trattoria

The video is taken at Luigi’s Trattoria. It turns out going early bird is a fun way to do date night! Especially when restaurants are busy with tourists! We ordered the gold label Ruffino Chianti with our early bird special – and it was delightful.

Luigi’s is an excellent spot for date night or to bring the whole family - delicious Italian food, great wine list (order the Ruffino Chianti!) and friendly atmosphere.

Villa Romana

Villa Romana has a loyal following and for good reason - the service is excellent, the atmosphere friendly, and the food exceptional.

Crave Italian Oven & Bar

Crave‘s trendy, cool atmosphere and huge bar area makes it a great spot for happy hours, date nights, and dinners with friends. It’s hard to choose between the incredible wood-fired pizzas, one of the traditional pastas like Nonna’s Lasagna, or one of the entrees like the Shrimp Jillane (shrimp tossed with mascarpone cheese, lemon, and risotto!) You’ll just need to visit more than once, because you’ll be tempted by the entire menu.

Ramando’s Italian Grill

Ramando’s wins for the best toasted garlic bread - it’s so good, once you think about it, you’ll instantly crave it! This is a casual spot that is great for families, and offers an excellent menu of Italian dishes.

Gio’s is the best spot for a date night! Check out this upscale Italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach or, if you‘re on the south end, another location in Pawleys Islad. The food is phenomenal and has a great wine list.
