Johnny D’s Waffles & Bakery in Myrtle Beach serves up some incredible waffles – and I could not resist ordering the chocolate banana coconut waffles for breakfast this weekend. The combination, of course, was delicious and much more like a decadent desert than a meal to kickstart my Saturday.
The menu is pretty extensive – this restaurant is not your standard Myrtle Beach pancake house. With a bakery and case full of gourmet cupcakes, this place will surely satiate your sweet tooth. I had a very tough decision: french toast with strawberries and cream cheese icing or this chocolate banana coconut waffle. A coconut and chocolate combination will tempt me every time, but I will definitely go back so I can compare the two, for the sake of this blog, of course.
The egg section is just as elaborate as the sweet section: omelets, benedicts, and regular egg platters… the options are nearly overwhelming, so just choose one and go back again to try the others later. That was my solution to my order anxiety, at least!
