Use the MakeUp Eraser Towel instead of wipes!

Makeup eraser - makeup remover towel

YOU V MASCARA. There is a moment at the end of the day when it’s time to commence the battle against solidified eye makeup. Mascara wants to do two things: the better half refuses to leave your eyelashes while the other half collects under your eyes so you resemble a raccoon. Disposable wipes are no match for this obstinate mess. Meet the Makeup Eraser, a makeup remover towel which is like a magic eraser for your face. FabFitFun included this in their winter box and WOW. It’s magical. With just water and a few swipes, all of your eye makeup disappears from your face.

Reusable Makeup Towels

No more disposable wipes

I have the WORST time getting my eye makeup off at night. Even though I love my Beautycounter oil face wash, it does not remove my mascara. And I used makeup remover wipes, and I hate to call out a brand like this – but seriously Bert’s Bees makeup remover wipes burned the crap out of my eyelids (it was like a sunburn!)

Plus wipes contribute waste. Like a lot of waste. I am not embedding this photo because it is gross, but if you’re curious, check out the Charleston Water System’s picture of wipes that clogged the sewer system. EW. (Don’t flush a wipe down the toilet, fyi!)

how to take care of the makeup remover towel

You’re supposed to wash the towel a few times a week, so you should stock up on a few. I washed mine after about a week – I have the pink one so could see where I had used it. Kind of gross? Maybe. So I plan to get another.

how much does the makeup eraser cost?

It’s $20 for one or $35 for two from Amazon. Get one for you and be the hero of the favorite woman in your life by gifting her one, too. Totally worth the price. The original makeup eraser is available on Amazon. I hope you enjoy!!
