Fig Appetizer with Goat Cheese, Walnuts, + Hot Honey

The fig appetizer mixes figs, ricotta, walnuts, goat cheese, and walnuts. Perfect for fall! Plus, it takes just a few minutes to assemble. Pair it with a Landmark Pinot Noir or Chardonnay and you have a fabulous fall wine night in.

I used brown turkey figs in this recipe, which have a mild and not to sweet flavor.

Fig Appetizer with Goat Cheese, Hot Honey + Walnuts

Ingredients

  • Figs
  • Goat Cheese (Crumbled) - or Feta
  • Hot Honey
  • Crushed Walnuts
  • Ricotta Cheese

Instructions

  1. Slice the figs in half.
  2. Spread on the ricotta
  3. Sprinkle on the walnuts (you may want to press them into the ricotta)
  4. Sprinkle on the goat cheese (or feta)
  5. Drizzle with hot honey
