St. Patrick’s Day is a fun holiday with kids! The tricky leprechaun visits our house every year and leaves gold coins, candy, green foot prints on the TOILET SEAT, and makes a mess! Our kids LOVE IT SO MUCH. If you want to take St. Patrick’s Day to the next level, get the kids to try to catch the leprechaun. Here’s how to make a leprechaun trap:

The whole family can get together and create a trap for the leprechaun. We’ve never caught one, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. You never make the shots you don’t take.
To make a leprechaun trap, you’ll need:
- Some sort of a box, like a shoebox
- Art supplies like construction paper, glue, cotton balls, and stickers to decorate the trap
- Gold coins to lure the leprechaun in
- A ladder so the leprechaun can climb up
- Create some sort of hole for the leprechaun falls into the box
Our leprechaun usually makes a mess, leaves gold coins and candy, but never falls in our contraption.
