I dream of the picnic food from roadside spot Dry Creek General Store in Healdsburg California. It’s a short distance from Dry Creek Vineyard, so you can pack up your lunch, head over to their garden with picnic tables, order a glass of their crisp Chenin Blanc and have a delectable picnic lunch. The sandwiches are incredible with delicious, crusty bread and fresh ingredients. The sides – beets, kale salad, and quinoa salad are equally as delicious. My goal in life is to figure out how to duplicate this fresh, simple picnic food and eat it for lunch everyday… I won’t be drinking wine at work, but I will be eating a picnic at my desk.
