Foodies, you’ll love Tidal Creek Brewhouse! My first visit to Tidal Creek Brewhouse was not for beer – it was for breakfast. The new restaurant is directly behind The Market Common office building on Johnson Ave with plenty of parking and outdoor space. The porch is beautiful, with a window to order breakfast so you don’t even need to walk inside. I imagine this is a fun spot for beers and appetizers. Everything about the outdoor space – the woodwork, the exterior, the socially-distant seating – is really clean, pretty, and comfortable. I loved the vibe. It could not have been more perfect for a breakfast with kids.
You had me at “shredded bacon”
“It takes like bacon but it’s shredded,” were the words that forever changed my understanding of bacon. Bacon can be extra crispy, or crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside (preferred), and it can be baked in the oven or fried on the skillet. It can be cooked then cooled and turned into crumbles. But shredded?? Do they put bacon in a slow cooker? Who had this miraculous idea to make bacon shredded and smother it in cheese and stack on top of an egg? This is clearly the work of a genius.
Let’s talk about this breakfast sandwich. I love the simple menu. Egg sandwiches with various toppings is creative, makes it fun to order, yet is not overwhelming at all. My sandwich today was so delicious, it would be stressful to stray from the same order the next time… but what is house-made fruit jam? I think I need to try it!!! Plus, if you’re in the mood for coffee, they offer freshly roasted coffee from The Roasted Bean!
The tomato pie at Tidal Creek Brewhouse is a dish that’s so savory and delicious, once you try it, it will be tough to order anything else from the menu. Plus, the greens in a lemon olive oil is the perfect compliment to the main dish.

Y’all, this is a fun spot to visit. The outdoor space is relaxing and the food is over-the-top delicious. We had excellent, friendly, and welcoming service – I felt like I was in a cool, hipster city like Greenville. I definitely want to go back for happy hour and try pretty much everything on the shareables menu … a friend recommended the pimento grilled cheese and obviously, that sounds irresistible.
