Our new favorite activity is flipping through toy catalogues with our son and he points to toys and says “like it” and “play with it” which is just adorable. Maybe we are encouraging consumerism … But it’s so much fun! And great to get ideas for Christmas. This toy mechanic’s car is one item that got a very enthusiastic “LIKE IT!”

We ended up buying this toy and LOVE it. It’s fun for little ones (2+) to play with the tools and steer the wheel – and as they get older, to really take apart the engine. There are a lot of parts to take off and put back together, so it’s a fun activity for older kids (4+), especially ones like ours who love building things like Legos.
