Wine Country Inspired Cheese Plate that’s easy to recreate!

So many of the charcuterie boards and cheese plates on Pinterest are OVER THE TOP. You don’t need make your salami look like roses for a beautiful charcuterie board. I was surprised and relieved to learn the professionals at wineries serve extremely simple spreads. Of course, the old saying quality over quantity is the key.

I loved this cheese board from SIMI because it was so simple, and something you can make at home.

  • A few sliced cheeses
  • A jar of something fruity (this was a chef-made compote but you can find something similar in the store!)
  • Dried fruit
  • Salted Marcona almonds
  • Ricotta cheese mixed with olive oil: An easy item to make at home: ricotta mixed with olive oil, salt & pepper in a little jar. So simple and full of flavor!
  • fancy popcorn
