Hop* on over to the new HopnWich for a FANTASTIC dining experience in downtown Conway.
*too punny?
Located in a large, bright space off of 3rd Avenue, this is the perfect spot to hop* in for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
*yep, I did it again. No regrets.
The bright, open space is a mix of modern and traditional Conway style with exposed brick. The two-story restaurant has seating on the second floor around the perimeter, leaving the middle exposed. It feels huge.
The beer and sandwich themed restaurant is part of the Coastal Concepts Hospitality & Events Group, which also owns Grumpy Monk and Sneaky Beagle. The craft-beer-pairing-friendly menu is extensive with plenty of appetizers if you’re meeting for happy hour, build-you-own salads for a healthy lunch option, burgers if you’re carefree about your calorie count for the afternoon, delicious sandwich options, and Southern inspired entrees.
A Crafty Menu
‘Here comes the witch’ section of the menu boasts an impressive selection of savory sandwich options. Try the Naughty Grandpa, an indulgent combo of blueberry onion jam, brie, white American, and bacon grilled on thick slices of bread. YUM. You can also get a few traditional sandwiches like the Coastal Club, Heyoo Buffalo (fried buffalo sandwich) and Hello Laguna (a turkey avocado concoction.) More elaborate options include the a crispy pork belly with cinnamon honey butter and Monte Cristo made with bologna. Read the fine print – the delight is in the details of this menu.
For those who don’t love sandwiches for dinner, you’ll gravitate towards the entrees which offer a range of comfort food dishes. It will be tough to choose between the grilled salmon topped with that delicious blueberry onion jam, Cajun BBQ Shrimp and Grits, braised short rib, and roasted eggplant.
Kids will love the chicken fingers and Mac n’ cheese, and parents will love the leftovers. The kids menu
