October is one of the BEST months in Myrtle Beach. Lower humidity, not too cool, not too hot, and LOTS of fun fall October events to attend. If you have kids, or have taste buds, you’ll love all of the foodie fun October has in store!

Harvest Home Weekend

  • Where: Brookgreen Gardens
  • What: The pumpkin patch and scarecrow building are always a family favorite. Hayrides are back this year ($4 per person), and younger children will enjoy our hay maze! Mystery Scarecrow Making - Individually prepared kits are available or bring your own clothing to use! For $5 you can take your Scarecrow home!  While supplies last! Pumpkin Decorating - The cost of the pumpkins is $5 for small and $9 for large. While supplies last. Food vendors will be available.

    2021 Conway Ghost Walk – Conway Downtown Alive

  • Where: Downtown Conway
  • What: The 2021 Ghost Walk departs 428 Main Street aboard a Coastal Carolina University trolley and travels to the 9th Avenue section of Historic Conway where attendees will visit with storytellers sharing tales that are always spooky, sometimes humorous and guaranteed to become part of your family’s Halloween tradition.

    Haints, Haunts, and a Gothic Goodnight

    • Where: Leonard Pavilion at Brookgreen Gardens
    • What: Spend an evening under the stars, enjoying a Lowcountry buffet dinner followed by ghost tales from Gullah Geechee folklore told by Ron Daise, and gothic fiction performed by actor and horror icon Bill Oberst Jr., all under a waning crescent moon and the moss-draped trees in Brookgreen Garden's Arboretum. The evening will begin with a Lowcountry Supper buffet provided by Inlet Affairs.

      • What: The Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam is a 3-day festival featuring an epic off-road Obstacle Course, Car Show, Beach Crawls, Raffles, Nightly Parties around the city and over 90 Vendors! Join us next year in the heart of beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC — the Jeep Jam is located just one block from the ocean!
