Mahjong is having a moment, and if you’ve been watching from the sidelines, Malia’s beginner lesson is the right way in. I took it with a group of friends — two hours, one full game, zero prior knowledge required. Malia walks you through the rules as you play, so by the time the tiles are put away, you actually know what you’re doing.
