I used brown turkey figs in this recipe, which have a mild and not to sweet flavor.
Fig Appetizer with Goat Cheese, Hot Honey + Walnuts
Ingredients
- Figs
- Goat Cheese (Crumbled) - or Feta
- Hot Honey
- Crushed Walnuts
- Ricotta Cheese
Instructions
- Slice the figs in half.
- Spread on the ricotta
- Sprinkle on the walnuts (you may want to press them into the ricotta)
- Sprinkle on the goat cheese (or feta)
- Drizzle with hot honey
