We LOVED this cozy chic English pub. We didn’t know it was Michelin recommended when we walked in, but learning after was unsurprising. The menu is locally-sourced focused, with fresh seafood and vegetables. Everything was photogenic (and sitting by a window with pretty light made my photography brain sing!) Truly, a delightful evening. Now I follow Chef Natalie Coleman on Insta and she’s so cool (fishing! gorgeous food shots!) and wish I’d met her, because I’m positive we’d be besties.
Why go:The Garrison is not your typical pub – it’s upscale, cozy, features fresh fish, and is Michelin recommended. Plus, Chef Natalie Coleman is a Master Chef winner! This was right around the corner from our hotel, the Residence Inn London Bridge.
What we’d order again: The traditional fish and chips is served with a crazy delicious potato stack with flaky salt on top and a tartar sauce with caviar. More please! The sole with chimichurri was delightfully flavorful (but you have to know how to debone the fish, so probably not a good option for kids.) The duck dish with beets was a stunning presentation – and tasty! Start with the bread with butter. And don’t skip dessert!
