Mumm Napa

"You live but once; you might as well be amusing." - Coco Chanel

We pulled into the parking lot of Mumm Napa around 9:55, and by 10am, were seated on the porch with a row of sparkling wines lined up for tasting. I mean, CHEERS y’all!! Let’s do this thing!

An art gallery!

As a photography lover, I was in love with the Ansel Adams originals and ocean photography exhibit at the winery. Especially after a few glasses of wine.

The Mumm Napa wine we drink at home

The Mumm Napa Brut Rosè is one to keep chilling in the fridge, at all times. Anyone that has shared a happy hour with us won’t be shocked by this selection! We always love to kick off an evening with a glass of what our friends call “pink champagne.”

Music maker wine maker

Santana has a collaboration with Mumm Napa, and we tried two of his sparkling wines at the winery. Isn’t the Santana label cool?

Why Mumm Napa made it to the top of our list of favorite wineries

Definitely the porch and laid-back tasting experience made this one of our favorites tastings. We had an incredible and knowledgeable host, who mastered the perfect balance of talking to us about the wine and leaving us alone to enjoy the wine. Back-up reasons we loved it: the gift shop, the photography exhibit, the view, and duh… the wine.

but didn’t. Aren’t the kate spade rose gold champagne flutes gorgeous? (Yes.)

Gift I did buy on our exit through the gift shop

Wine barrel bracelets from Olive + Poppy. Obsessed. I sort of felt like I was wearing a concert t-shirt to the concert wearing them all week to wineries…  They are wooden (because they are made from wine barrels) with milky colors that matched everything in my travel wardrobe… so I wore them all week.

What I wore

A flowy, flattering blue elephant Lilly shirt with a pair of Lucky jeans I purchased at the outlet the day before our trip, and lived in the entire week in Napa & Sonoma. The weather all week was the perfect jeans-wearing temperature.

You live but once; you might as well be amusing.”

Visit Mumm Napa

We did the Oak Terrace Tasting with an artisan cheese tray – if you’re visiting Napa, add this to your list. Make a reservation. It’s worth the price.
