RipTydz in Myrtle Beach is one of the surprisingly few restaurants in Myrtle Beach located on the beach. You may think of this place more of a bar (and they do have a rooftop bar with live music) but it’s a great spot to meet friends or bring your family for lunch. The restaurant is modern and modern, and you really can’t beat dining by the ocean!
The menu has plenty of seafood options from southern favorite shrimp & grits to a whole red snapper. You can also order a seafood tower with lots of options including oysters, shrimps, lobster, crab legs, smoked salmon, clams and mussels. Kids (and adults) love their Mac ‘n cheese which is a Mix of smoked Gouda and white cheddar cheese – and you can opt to mix in bacon, chorizo, roasted tomatoes, crab and more. YUM.
We ordered blackened mahi tacos in a lettuce wrap with the homemade chips – the kids ordered tacos and Mac ‘n Cheese. The kids loved playing on the deck with the gigantic Connect 4 while we waited for our food to arrive.
If you’re looking for a fun oceanfront spot for lunch or dinner (especially during the off-season when crowds are low!) – check out RipTydz and follow @RipTydzMB on instagram.
