Why go: this is an iconic food hall with famous stalls, tremendous energy, many food options and flavors, and a cool experience.
What we’d order again: the paella with lobster from Furness Fish has a line for a reason – it’s fun to watch them make the paella and it’s as tasty as it looks. The Ginger Pig sausage roll is only $7 and DELICIOUS. The strawberries covered in chocolate from Turnips have the best strawberries – you don’t even need the chocolate. All of these have been featured in many videos, Instagram posts, and some may argue they are touristy – but who cares? They were all amazing choices and worth trying – but there were so many other places we wanted to try too! They even had a cool wine bar with food=friendly excellent choices (sparking wine always being my go-to, of course.)
Book a food tour: Borough Market Food Tour with 6+ Authentic Tastings from GetYourGuide.com offers a few guided food tours with tastings through Borough Market, which would be a fun way to experience the market – plus the guide would know how to get around (and we kept getting lost in the maze!) Get Your Guide app is our favorite way to book experiences in cities when we travel!
