It’s always fun to go out for brunch in Myrtle Beach, but staying in can be even better. Just like a happy hour at home, you need great music, good food, fun friends, and of course brunch cocktails. Keeping the food simple makes this an effortless brunch.
Brunch at Home
what to serve + recipes for the best brunch at home!
Food
Brunch is the most fun when it's a big spread with a selection of breads and toppings and of course... bacon.
Brunch board ideas:
- toast board with acocados, pickled red onion, jellies, mushrooms, cheese...
- bagel board with cream cheeses, jellies, peanut butter, salmon, eggs, bacon...
- biscuit board: Callie's Charleston Box makes it super simple because everything you need for an elegant and delicious spread is included
Wine
Skip the OJ and just serve champagne. Or a good Fume Blanc pairs well with savory brunch foods! Check out our favorite sparkling wines you can find at grocery stores and Target!
Fun Playlist
Personally, BB Kings Bluesville channel is our go-to for party music and it's perfect for brunch. We love our Sonos speakers to play music all the time in our house, which is like installing surround sound without actually having a technician come out and tear into your walls.
Brunch Recipes
Lemon ricotta blueberry topping for pancake bites
add this to pancakes, cookies, waffles... anything that you want to add a creamy, lemony flavor to!
BRUNCH WINES
a few brunch wines you can find at Target:
- Simi Rosé
- Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc
- Mumm Napa Brut (or any sparkling wine!)
- Sofia Rosé (the bottle is so pretty!)
- Whispering Angel Rosé (probably my favorite French rosé – dry and perfect for food!)
cheers, y’all! have a fun brunch!
