Our review of Myrtle Beach’s newest waterfront restaurant, 357 Coastal Raw Bar
The age-old advice for cocktail parties suggests steering clear of politics and religion, leaving the weather as the go-to small talk topic.
While it may seem mundane, let’s embrace it and chat about the weather!
This time of year is a delightful mix of sunshine and cooler temperatures.
And, the weather is perfect for sitting outside on the deck or inside with the windows open at the newly opened 357 Coastal Raw Bar. This is the latest restaurant created by the same group behind Crave and Sol y Luna. It’s located on the Intracoastal Waterway next to the Marina Inn. This delightful restaurant is going to be your new favorite spot for happy hour.
The restaurant features an open-air design, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. We opted to sit inside. With all the windows open, it felt like we were dining al fresco, fully enjoying the perfect weather. The atmosphere is bright, airy, and beautifully inviting.
Cheerful greeters made us feel welcomed and happy to be there the second we walked up. Service continued to be exceptional… they have a lot of friendly people making sure the customers have what they need.

The menu is the perfect coastal happy hour menu, filled with plenty of seafood apps and entrees. We decided to make a meal out of appetizers. We ordered a dozen oysters, the shrimp ceviche, and the tuna poke.
YUM.
The colors, presentation, and flavors were all amazing – and instgrammable. How gorgeous are the photos!?
We wanted to order the hushpuppies, calamari, the baked shrimp, and the crab-cakes… but that was a little much for two people.
So, we plan to be back with more people so we can order all the dishes.
Ya’ll will love this new spot for the views and the food. If you’ve been, be sure to comment and tell us your favorite dish on the menu!

Have been to 357 Raw and yes, it’s a great spot. Roasted oysters and Flat Breads are wonderful.

We want to thank the entire staff for such a great overall experience. My wife & I happen to be there when they were doing a taping of their place for advertisement. Was enjoyable to watch as it was going down. The best part was just how welcome they made us feel. As our afternoon ended, we walked away thinking, Wow, we loved doing business with them & I want to tell others about our experience. It’s great to know that people still care. Much success, The Stephans
