Why go: This is a Hilton Head tradition you really shouldn’t skip. While you wait for a table, grab a beer from the bar and head to the shop to get an iconic t-shirt (or a hat, dog bandana, bag, sweatshirt…. ) and visit the parrots (but don’t get close.) The outdoor seating, music, water views, and vibe is unmatched. It’s always a fun evening at The Salty Dog!
What we’d order again: definitely the IPA! which we got at the bar first while we waited for a table. We liked the calamari, chicken fingers, fried seafood for dinner.
