Our flight was canceled in Philadelphia. YAY! We booked a night at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City, booked a Constitutional Walking Tour, and had an accidental visit to Philly. We LOVED it and will definitely be back on purpose – and would choose this hotel again.
Why we loved staying here: As always, service was friendly, we got a late checkout, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the large lobby had a huge bag and a cool little lounge-y area which was perfect for a beer. The M Lounge (if you’re an elite Marriott Bonvoy member) was STOCKED with drinks and snacks. For a mom with a 16-year old travel companion… this was an excellent perk. But the #1 reason to stay here is the location because it’s walkable to everything you want to do.
Walkable to: Liberty Bell, Constitutional Walking Tour, Fork, Campo’s Philly Cheesesteaks, and all the downtown attractions
