When our flight home was canceled… I wasn’t sad about it. We booked a room at the Marriott Philadelphia Old City and then I immediately analyzed all of the guided walking tours of the historic district on the Get Your Guide app. We picked this one based on timing and reviews, and we are SO happy with our choice.

Our guide, Tom, is a middle school history teacher, and has a great way of telling the history in an interesting and engaging way. Philadelphia is one of those cities that is walkable and you could certainly see the highlights on your own – but having the context of the guide, hearing the history, and being able to ask questions made a huge difference. 10/10. I can’t recommend this tour enough if you’re visiting Philadelphia.
