Perrone’s in Pawleys is one of those places you know if you know. Its unassuming exterior does not match the spectacular interior and foodie menu. This is a hidden gem in the Grand Strand and a unique fine dining spot you need to add to your list.
Perrone’s Wine List
Perrone’s is known for creative cocktails – and the menu is extensive! But as a wine enthusiast, you can’t ignore the fantastic and thoughtful wine list that pairs perfectly with the Mediterranean and Lowcountry inspired dishes.
We had the Flowers Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast – a favorite – which is a great red wine to split for anything from seafood to lamb chops. We also went a little more robust and ordered the Heitz Cellar Napa Cab.
Menu: What to Order
Of all the incredible dishes we ordered – the lamb chops, fresh catch, bolognese – the fish roe / creme fraiche potato chip appetizer was my favorite to start the meal.
The service was impeccable, the food fantastic, and the wine list superb.
This fine dining hidden gem is 100% worth making a reservation.
Cheers!
