Beach Hippie Coffee in Myrtle Beach is a delightful little coffee shop stocked with incredible baked goods, vibrant colors, and, of course, caffeinated beverages.
The stale, dark mid-century corporate modern of Starbucks is not the style you’ll find in this cozy, colorful coffee shop.
Instead, you’re greeted with a happy, hippie vibe from staff telling you their favorite pastries (the pumpkin brûlée rec was not a hard sell) and the bright and light and color filling your brain with cheer.
Look at the sugar on the apple cider donut.
The crunch on the dense pumpkin brûlée bread.
The steam from the coffee made from hand-roasted beans.
This little spot is a gem for locals – and vacationers! – and is the perfect way to start your morning.
📍Go: Beach Hippie Coffee, 5311 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29577 (note: there are 3 Beach Hippie storefronts, which makes finding the coffee shop a tad confusing. The one with the sign on the highway, next to Domino’s is not where to go for coffee. Head to the next little shopping center to find the coffee shop!)
P.S. Do you also like shoes? Shop the Shoe Center in North Myrtle Beach, owned by my friend Rachel who has the same kind of magic as caffeine. Her energy is infectious, and she can help you find the perfect pair of shoes whether you’re jogging, shagging, or dressing up!
