Sometimes we forget… that we don’t have to go far to experience something special.
Locals, don’t forget you can live like you’re on vacation right here in Myrtle Beach. We are so lucky to live in a place most people save all year to visit!
Visit the Boardwalk and grab lunch at some of the popular spots. Enjoy everything this town has to offer. Not only will you have fun, but also you’ll be supporting locally-owned businesses!
Let’s not forget to have fun like a tourist… especially when we have the beach to ourselves!
We visited the Boardwalk for a Sunday stroll and had the best time… here’s a look around.
HiFi Coffee Bar
Hi Fi Coffee Bar is the cutest little coffee shop on the main strip. Great coffee selection, cool atmosphere, delicious pastries. I loved my coffee – and I am picky about coffee!
Pier 14
Pier Beers overlooking the ocean is definitely a cheap date you should try! We sat out on the tall Adirondack chairs looking out at the beach. So pretty and fun!
The Bowery
This iconic spot where Alabama played in the 70s is a fun spot for beers and music. The bar is open during the day, and the stage and second bar for music is open for shows. The Bowery still features live music on the weekends (here’s the schedule.)
Oceanfront Bar & Grill
Surprisingly, there are very few oceanfront dining options in Myrtle Beach. This spot has garage doors so you can sit with ocean views. The food is actually fantastic – a great casual spot for families.
The Gay Dolphin
We ran out of time for early Christmas shopping at the coolest gift shop on the East Coast (over 75 years old!) but will be back for the holiday season!
Cheers, y’all! Watch our video on YouTube!
