YOUR CHARLESTON TO DO LIST
we visit Charleston frequently, here are our favorite things to see + do in the Holy City
MAKE A RESERVATION.
You can walk to all of these from the Downtown Courtyard Marriott or the Bella Grace.
- The Ordinary – cool atmosphere, great for oysters
- The Grocery – sharable plates, great wine list
- Sorelle – Michelin recommended, we got the wine pairing tasting menu and it was fabulous
- Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) – popular for good reason
- Delaney Oyster House – fabulous little spot in an older Charleston house, great bar for oysters
- 82 Queen – our go-to for fancy Lowcountry comfort food
GRAB A GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE + CAVIAR FRIES
Located in the fancy Hotel Bennet, it’s pink, it’s pretty, they have a fabulous wine list and great wine snacks – including the caviar fries. This is the perfect spot as a night cap or before dinner.

STAY SOMEPLACE WALKABLE.
There are no shortage of hotels in Charleston – and if you have an endless budget you should splurge and stay at the Charleston Place or the Hotel Bennet. However, if you want a comfortable hotel in walking distance to everything you want to do – we love the Hotel Bella Grace and the Marriott Historic Downtown Courtyard.
