Swig & Swine is downtown Myrtle Beach’s newest BBQ restaurant. You’ll love the trendy industrial interior as much as the friendly (and weirdly fast) service.
We ordered the 2 meat platters with 2 sides to share… because we’re old and married, and that’s how we dine. The ribs are fantastic. The smoked sausage has a little spice which makes it a great side (not sure I’d want that to be my main dish though.) Pork BBQ is fantastic. Brisket is also a treat.
In the mood for apps and a beer? Go to the bar and you’ll love the pork rind nachos with a craft beer. Delish.
Let’s talk about the sides.
- Mac and cheese – holy smokes, y’all this is a dish that you don’t want to miss.
- Corn Pudding: You also need to try the corn pudding, which is a sinful concoction of cheese and corn.
- Greens: The greens must be healthy because they are green, right?
If you’re with a group that is starving: Go with a group and get the Family Platter for $72, which includes a sampling of pretty much everything on the menu: Pulled Pork, Prime Beef Brisket, Smoked Turkey, Smoked Pork Belly, Housemade Sausage, 1/3 Rack of Ribs, Smoked Chicken Wings and 3 Sides (Pints).
For craft beer lovers: Head to happy hour to enjoy a craft beer and the pork rind nachos piled high with Pulled Pork, Sweet BBQ Sauce, Queso, BBQ Onions, & Chopped Jalapeños.
Enjoy, y’all!
