38th Annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade and Fireworks on the Marshwalk
July 4 • Murrells Inlet MarshWalk • 3 pm
Celebrate Independence Day with family and friends on the MarshWalk. The 38th Annual Murrells Inlet boat parade will begin at 3pm! Festively decorated boats will cruise through the inlet for all to see! Enjoy live music along with great food and drinks throughout the day. Plan to stay through the evening to witness the Grand Strand’s largest aerial fireworks show, the Annual Fourth of July Fireworks on the MarshWalk. At 10pm the sky will fill with colors of red, white, blue and beyond for incredible, awe-inspiring 20-minute firework show.
12TH ANNUAL MYRTLE BEACH INDEPENDENCE DAY 5K
July 3 • The Market Common
This is one of the largest races in the Myrtle Beach area! The race course is through the scenic Market Common region of Myrtle Beach and features highlights of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Participants receive a high quality race shirt along with a post-race goodies compliments of Bojangles, Aquafina, and Peace Love and Little Donuts! In addition, there will be prizes for the best themed costumes!

54th Annual 4th of July Parade in Pawleys Island

The Fourth of July Parade on Pawleys Island, South Carolina is a fun community event. Visitors and locals alike parade down the Island in anything that becomes a makeshift float – be it a boat, car, or flatbed truck! All of which are decorated in true red, white, and blue ~ true patriotic fashion! The Pawleys Island Parade is a fun, family tradition on the 4th.

July 4 • Barefoot Landing
Come join us in beautiful Barefoot Landing along our USATF certified course! Runners, walkers, and strollers are all welcome. No dogs allowed on the race course. Race participants receive a custom designed tri-blend shirt (guaranteed if registered by June 25) along with a "Made in the USA" finisher medal! The 5K race begins at 7:00 AM followed by post race goodies and awards. Overall awards provided by Fleet Feet Myrtle Beach. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume to be eligible for additional prizes!
July 4th Golf Cart Parade in Surfside Beach
The annual 4th of July Golf Cart Parade will be Sunday, July 4th. Line up begins a 12:30 p.m. on Melody Lane and parade begins at 1:00 p.m. and travels north on Ocean Blvd. and disbands at 16th Avenue North. Judging will be at Neal and Pam's on Ocean Blvd.
Flyover to Support & Honor America's Troops
July 4 • 1 pm
The Salute from the Shore is a unique opportunity for individuals, friends, and families to salute our armed forces while celebrating Independence Day on South Carolina beaches. Our role is to organize and promote a military flyover on the 4th of July that will stretch the entire length of South Carolina’s coast. We will capture as much footage of the flyover as possible, from the air and from the ground, for inclusion in a video that will be posted for all to see.
