Why go: This beautiful section of the Golden Gate Park does require an entrance fee for visitors, but is worth the price of admission. The beautiful plants, ponds, bridges, and pretty red architecture make this a beautiful stroll. Get a plate of cookies and tea for the full experience.
Keep walking: If you want to take a longer walk, go through Golden Gate Park, over the Panhandle park by Haight-Ashbury, up to Alamo Square to see the famous Painted Ladies is a beautiful stroll – followed by a casual dinner at Horsefeather.Â
