Why go: Gorgeous doesn’t cover it. The Cliffs of Moher on a clear day are one of those views that stops you mid-sentence — dramatic, wild, and completely worth the trip from Dublin. Hike the trail as far as the safety wall takes you and stop there. Not a suggestion. Almost every bus tour arrives and leaves at the same time, which means if you time your visit outside that window you’ll have the cliffs nearly to yourself. Plan accordingly.

Book it: We actually booked a day trip on a bus so arrived with the other busses – and It did not feel overly crowded! We went up the coast and spent a few days in Galway. It was a GREAT day trip excursion from Dublin!
