Let’s chat about the famous Chateau Montelena Napa Valley Chardonnay. I’m going to make a bold statement here which is mostly based in taste but partially emotional too: this is my favorite white wine. Ever. It’s a tad expensive (nearly $50 from a wine shop.) This wine also stars in a movie, Bottleshock, which is a really fun wine movie with a great story.

The movie is about the famous Judgement of Paris in 1976, a contest in which California wines competed against established icons of the wine world. Spoiler alert: USA wins. Specifically, Chateau Montelena Chardonnay wins, which is why you should drink it while watching the movie.
