1. Charleston Wine + Food Festival
What: Charleston Wine + Food infuses homegrown flavor with top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers, artisans, and food enthusiasts from around the globe for a five-day event that spans the first full weekend each March.
Why: the food & wine experiences around the town are one-of-a-kind (and you have a LOT to choose from!) – note: the main tasting village was crowded, lines were long, and while it was fun and I’d recommend going, there were just a few wines to taste

2. HILTON HEAD WINE + FOOD FESTIVAL
What Food, music, wine tastings, and local vendors set up for this tasting event in the beautiful Celebration Park across from Coligny Plaza in Hilton Head
Why: beautiful Lowcountry spring weather, delicious sips and tasty bites from the region’s culinary leaders.

Why: A bus brewery tour, cooking classes, wine dinner at the historic Hampton-Preston Mansion were a few of the creative events held in the past

Why: Greenville is a cool city, so visiting while the wine is pouring is a fantastic idea

Why: Riverbanks Botanical Garden is a beautiful setting, and this is a relaxed event with the right amount of people to make it fun and easy to walk up to tables for a tasting
