Travel Cameras & Photography Gear

My must-have cameras, travel lenses, bags, filters, and accessories for capturing memories on the go. Whether you’re using Fuji, DJI, GoPro, or Sony, these tools make it easy to get beautiful photos and video without overthinking settings.

  • DJI Osmo

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 – Easiest Cinematic Camera for Travel

This tiny video camera takes the best video on the go. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on settings – this is just a point and shoot video camera that takes excellent quality video without much thought. The audio quality is fantastic (but I did buy the little DJI mic minis too) – the video quality is crazy for such a small device – even beautiful depth of field! The coolest feature is being able to follow – so you can double tap on someone’s face and it will follow that person around like you have your own personal cameraman. And it’s on a gimbal so the footage is super steady and smooth. Hands down, my favorite video camera and I bring it with me everywhere.

  • Fuji xs20 - the Travel Video + Photography Powerhouse

    Why We Love It:

    • Built for content creators who shoot both photos and video

    • Fuji’s iconic colors + film simulations out of camera (so fun to try different looks!)

    • Lightweight and easy to carry all day while traveling

    • Seamless transition between photo + video modes

    • Great performance in real-world travel lighting

  • Fujifilm X100VI — The Camera I Take Everywhere

Fujifilm X100VI — The Camera I Take Everywhere

A photographer’s cult favorite camera. The Fuji x100vi is my travel + everyday camera. I usually have it with me in my bag. Fuji x100vi’s retro look, manual dials, film simulations, make this camera a JOY to use. I love it for video, too – although it is definitely built to be more for photography.

PS – I keep the PolarPro Shortstache Everyday filter on it + use Reggie’s Portra film recipe for pretty, cinematic, a little vintage-y look.

  • Insta360 Go3s - a teeny little action camera

    Insta360 Go3s – a teeny little action camera

Insta360 Go 3s is just FUN because it’s so tiny and magnetic! And waterproof! You can put this thing in the bottom of a glass and pour water on it, stick it on a metal pole while you’re out and about, wear it around your neck for cool POV shots. And the video quality is excellent! The stabilization is great so you get smooth videos, and the colors are bright and vivid. It’s fun to get creative with this camera!

  • fantastic pocketable travel camera: Sony ZV1

Sony ZV1 – a Teeny Tiny Powerhouse Vlogger Camera

The vlogger camera that everyone loves is a little powerhouse for photos AND video. Seriously, you’ll be blown away by the quality from this teeny tiny point and shoot camera. Check out Sony zv1 sample photos here

  • best case for DJI neo

The best case for the DJI Neo

If you get the DJI Neo, you must get this little $14 case. I bought it on a whim expecting it to be trash — and it’s actually perfect. It’s compact, protective, and makes it so easy to toss the Neo into any bag. It is not bulky and doesn’t take up any extra space. The drone fits snugly, the zipper is solid, and it keeps everything clean and safe while traveling. For the price, it’s honestly one of the best accessory purchases I’ve made.

P.S. This goes with my favorite little selfie drone — you can see that post here.

  • mini selife drone

The Best Little Selfie Drone (Under $300!)

This little selfie drone is pure magic. I’ve always wanted a drone but felt totally overwhelmed learning to fly one — but the DJI Neo? You control it from your phone! It has presets for spinning shots, follow shots, rocket shots, and all the fun aerial moves without needing any drone skills. It’s tiny, easy to fly, and captures gorgeous overhead videos without the stress (or price tag) of a big drone. For under $200, it’s the most fun travel camera I own, and I toss it in my bag for every trip. If you’ve ever wanted pretty aerial shots without the learning curve, this is the one.

Get the version with extra batteries / *I’m linking to the version with the 3 battery combo because you’ll want the extra batteries! You can get it for $199 with one battery that lasts about 15 minutes, but I ended up buying extra batteries with the charger later, which is $289 and includes 3 batteries + a charger.

Get this case / You also need the $14 case from Amazon — it’s shockingly good and perfect for travel.
