The best part about ordering a clam dish at a seafood restaurant like the Big Tuna in Georgetown is the butter garlic sauce. You may order it for the seafood, but the real star is the garlic butter sauce so you can dip your bread in it. I’ve never thought to attempt a dish like this it at home because it seems so fancy and decadent. I was amazed to discover the only culinary skills needed are slicing butter and heating up the oven. I can do that. You can do that! This Butter Garlic Shrimp recipe comes together with little effort and is a big on flavor.
Sam the Cooking Guy’s “shrimpy” is basically butter and garlic and pepper and delicious, plus requires very little effort. Sam said to make this on NYE, so that’s what we did and we drank champagne. However, I’d make this during the week because it took 5 minutes to assemble and 15 to cook. This would also make a great dinner party dish.
Note: I swapped Momofuku spicy seasoned salt for the paprika and pepper, and it was delicious.
