100 Things to do in Myrtle Beach before you Die by Ashley Daniels is the BEST compilation of things to do in the Grand Strand for locals and visitors. Ashley is an incredible writer who captures the details of all the major attractions, restaurants, and beauty of the Grand Strand who puts a new spin on some old favorites and uncovers hidden gems even locals will be surprised to discover. You’ll love this bucket list of things to do in Myrtle Beach!

We stayed at the AC Hotel on a trip to Savannah – and this is definitely the hotel we’ll be booking when we visit again. This hotel is right on the waterfront with a cool rooftop venue for cocktails and breakfast, and you can walk down the historic cobblestone streets for shopping and restaurants. We walked everywhere – including a Ghost Tour Pub Crawl – and back to our hotel.

We’ve stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis many times to walk to the Mercedes Benz center for special events – we love that we can walk to the Aquarium, restaurants, special events. The hotel rooms are pretty spacious, the restaurant has a great buffet, and the bar is great for a nightcap. The fitness area is pretty large, too. Great choice if you’re visiting ATL and want a downtown hotel!

I can never run out of this magical potion because it makes my skin look so happy. The Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is soothing, hydrating, and truly the best day-and-night moisturizer I’ve ever tried. I love that one jar works for everything — simple, effective skincare. A tiny amount goes a long way, and I’ve reordered it again and again.

Y’all, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits are the best southern biscuits you can keep in your freezer. Chive and cheese, sausage… plain… you just cannot go wrong. Smother in the jam or the pimento cheese… get one of the bundles for the best brunch ever (that takes zero effort.)

Sometimes, tea towels may look cute but are not functional as a towel… these Chinoiserie Christmas Tea Towels are surprisingly both! The waffle style fabric will actually clean up a mess but you may not want to use them because they are so pretty. These are so cute for a gift!

Sprinkle this on your fire for different colored flames! So cool and pretty!

These pink nutcracker ornaments arrived and I was tickled pink with the quality. (Ok bad pun.) seriously, these are wooden and have the cutest details, I love this little collection for our pink Christmas tree and for wine gifts!

This is a curl enhancing serum that works. If you’re going to try just one product for beach waves, this is the one that will transform your frizz into curls.

This tiny video camera takes the best video on the go. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on settings – this is just a point and shoot video camera that takes excellent quality video without much thought. The audio quality is fantastic (but I did buy the little DJI mic minis too) – the video quality is crazy for such a small device – even beautiful depth of field! The coolest feature is being able to follow – so you can double tap on someone’s face and it will follow that person around like you have your own personal cameraman. And it’s on a gimbal so the footage is super steady and smooth. Hands down, my favorite video camera and I bring it with me everywhere.

This social hotel is the most fun place to say if you don’t have kids – a bar and taco food truck in the lobby, a bar on the rooftop, and a mesmerizing sand table will keep you entertained for hours. The rooms are efficiently compact with enough quirky details to make it a unique stay plus you have views of the South Carolina Capitol out of your window. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Soda City Market and this hotel is right in the middle of it.

BE SO FABULOUS. Estelle Colored Glass is a Charleston, SC based company with the prettiest collection of stemware. These pink champagne coupes are divine, aren’t they!?

I LOVE these little notebooks. Field Notes are the ideal little notebook to jot down ideas, to do lists, journal, and creative projects. Pocket-sized with substantial paper that can hold up to your favorite fountain pen or felt tip pen, these little notebooks provide a tool to get your thoughts organized. You can get dots, lined, or graph. My favorite is graph so you can create little boxes for to do lists.

A photographer’s cult favorite camera. The Fuji x100vi is my travel + everyday camera. I usually have it with me in my bag. Fuji x100vi’s retro look, manual dials, film simulations, make this camera a JOY to use. I love it for video, too – although it is definitely built to be more for photography.

PS – I keep the PolarPro Shortstache Everyday filter on it + use Reggie’s Portra film recipe for pretty, cinematic, a little vintage-y look.
