Pancakes Made Easy (and less messy!) with a Pancake Batter Dispenser

For years, I’ve wanted this pancake thing that squirts out even amounts of batter. In my organization shopping spree at Target, in which I bought two entire shopping carts worth of bins to organize the garage that looks like a hoarder’s daydream, I saw the yellow pancake batter dispenser and sneaked it into the cart, and the next morning, the proud owner of the pancake thing, I made pancakes.

And my adorable sous chef helped mix the batter! He’s such a sweet little assistant, and he loves a task. Getting him involved in the kitchen is fun and helpful – I taught him how to wash the mixing bowl, which he thought was awesome. (If you’ll remember, I also turned him into a swiffer enthusiast a few months ago, too.)

Holding three cups of batter, my new pancake batter dispenser will ALSO work for cupcakes, so I can assure you this is a healthy purchase. It was fun to make perfectly sized pancakes (I prefer smaller, silver dollar pancakes for dipping) and clean-up so simple. I just rinsed it out and put the parts in the dishwasher.
