Celebrate local businesses

We’re launching a new content series next week called ‘Pop the fizz for local biz’ featuring local businesses! We will be sharing the behind-the-business stories of grand Strand locals, helping you discover new favorites or learn something new about your current favorites! Want to recommend a business to be featured? Fill out this form to recommend a business! Thanks to the talented and clever @margaret1231media for coming up with the name!!! Our first feature will be @thepowerofelderberries – coming soon on the blog 🥂

Pop a bottle & celebrate Father’s Day

Speaking of popping bottles, why not open a bottle of Gloria Ferrer sparkling this weekend and make this delicious smoked salmon and blinis appetizer? So so good. Buy some cool, natural shaving essentials from Bare + Bloom and you’ve planned the perfect celebration.

Watch Love Life

After you’ve made a spread and opened a bottle of sparkling, tune into HBO Max’s new show Love Life. The first episode will have you hooked. Narrated like a bedtime story by a lady with a British accent, the ten-episode series follows Darby Carter’s (Anna Kendrick) love life from first romance to her last.

Order fancy olive oil

The best olive oil is back in stock at Jordan Winery. It’s buttery and nutty and delicious. Whisk it with apple cider + honey as a salad dressing with mixed greens. Mix it with pasta, asparagus, a squeeze of lemon, and Parmesan. Dip a crusty baguette into it. Whatever you do with olive oil, it will be better with this olive oil. The flavor stands out so much, you really don’t need to add much else.
